Original black gilt dial has aged beautifully. This early style dial with half Rolex crown and DateJust written in stunning copper gilt is only found on early ovettone reference 6105. The dial has aged evenly and remains glossy. The luminous are all fully intact and match the original hands perfectly.

Sharp original case appears to have never been polished with the original edges still intact. The case has average wear throughout. Serial and model numbers are perfectly visible between the lugs. There is dedication on the caseback.

Original 18k Jubilee bracelet stamped 1951 and is original to the watch. The bracelet has average stretch and has had 1 link repaired.

Ovettone's with original black dials in this condition are extremely rare and have always been sought after by serious collectors. This watch is as classic 1950's Rolex as it gets!
