An absolutely stunning and collectible daytona.

This seadweller is of the very first batch of true so-called transitional seadweller's, with a very low serial and early caseback. This new reference was produced while reference 1665 was still in production. The watch remains in totally untouched original condition.

Early screw-down daytonas, with serial numbers under 3.0 have become very rare and desirable. This is due to their early features and especially for their dials which are prone to changing color. The registers on the dial of this watch have turned a beautiful carmel brown. A great watch to add to any serious collection.
