Original gilt chapter ring dial with early style graphic and "200m = 660ft Submariner" both written in silver remains ultra glossy and stunning. All of the luminous markers remain perfectly intact and the surface of the dial is like a mirror. There are 3 small dots of pitting in the dial, which are present, but not very easily seen. The tritium hands match nicely.
Original pointed crown guard case has been detailed in the past and seen average wear, however the lugs remain even and full. Original twin lock.
USA riveted bracelet dated 1971 has no stretch.
The classic no-date chronometer reference 5512 has many different dial variations. This dial with early style Rolex and crown with 2 lines in silver is actually quite unusual and absolutely stunning.
